Hello there,

I finally got my new PS. 450W should do the trick :p
Now I still have one problem left; when I boot for
the first time, I get an error that windows encountered a problem with NTKERN during boot.
When I restart in safe mode and then in normal mode the problem is gone.
What could this be?

If ya runnin' a Win9x os then have a read of this article (http://www.pcscoop.com/software/oses/WINfiles/index.asp) as it may help. :smokin:

your OS would have to be winNT/2k/XP.

I'd try copying your profile to the default profile and then deleting your profile - it should recreate a new one with the same settings (except for the error)

I tried replacing the vxd. files. At first I couldn't make it happen, but the 2nd time I booted my PC did use the correct files.
So far I haven't had the error again.
Thanx pnce again.

BTW I am running Win98:clap:

Hey n/p as I've seen the prob a few times before but why M$ lets it's setup install while leavin' those .vxd files out must be just as that article says and that's to make a few extra bucks out of us. :(
