  • Overheat concern MA790GP-DS4H

Hi, I'm concerned about temperatures easy tune 6 is showing. Not too sure what sensors are referring to but
    System: 38degC
    CPU1: 60degc

    As reference SpeedFan indicates
    Temp1: 38degC
    Temp2: 60degC
    Temp3: 59degC
    Core:43degC

These are a lot higher than acceptable however heat sink fan is not even consistantly running (Shuriken heat sink). Could the fan controller be based on system temp rather than cpu temp?

I'm also a concerned the fan may have packed it in as it tends to start stop a bit too often, is there way to force it to run full speed to test?

    FYI:
    AMD Phenon X3 2.1GHz

System temp in Easytune is your boards PCB Temp neat the NB. CPU temp is likely just that.

What does coretemp or realtemp show for your cores?

You can set your CPU fan to voltage in the BIOS and it should run all the time 100%, the setting is in the PC Health Section of the BIOS
