  • Is it necessary to use extra cooling on pc-1066 rambus?

As you can se on the picture the board have two memslots horizontal and the other two vertical, this will get the memory to run cooler without obtaining so mutch heat from one another.
But is it anyway necessary to add extra cooling to it?
Not sure but i think the memory has "cooling plates" on them to.

So long as your case has reasonable good air flow I wouldn't worry about it. ;)

it doesn't hurt to have ramsinks, but like Wiggo said, check your airflow...what kind of case do you have ? how many fans ? where are they ? what is your case temp ?

      I ask a lot of questions don't I ? (see, another one):D

        Are you overclocking the memory?

With some good healthy under your desk fresh air constantly passing through the chips should do it justice...of course always having exhaust fans to remove the hot air and keep a nice flow of fresh air passing through.

          What WiGGo mentioned.:)
