    Ok i have a stupid compaq computer in which i made alotta mods but i want to overclock my stupid 100mhz FSB to 133Mhz PLEASE HELP ME

        If it's a compaq the best way will probably to pull the MoBo out break it and go buy a new one, any one, they will all be better

              Hey Sqeak, first check out your mobo manual and find out if it allows you to change the FSB and/or the multiplier... so you don´t take the risk of swap your HSF out and in again and crush your core for nothig....
              in the other hand, raising your FSB and lowering your multiplier REALLY increases performance.......

                I don't think Compaqs come with a mobo manual, LOLOTF :laugh:

                  The best idea would be to open up the case and search for a brand or model number on the mobo plus keep an eye out for switches. Some AMD Compaq's can be manually configured it's the Intel ones that are usually imposible. The exact model number of the Compaq may help as well. ;)

                              Good to see you back Morgan. Have you been on holiday? Multiple personality disorder can be quite interesting. Having known someone who actually suffered from it, I can tell you that it could be quite scary and also quite humorous.
