  • A790GMH/128M - 6core support

    HI,

Does the current A790GMH/128M production bios v1.70 also include the 6 core support provided by the beta bios L1.61 - it doesn't say so but I just need to be sure.

    Thanks.

        Re: A790GMH/128M - 6core support

First I'm sorry. My above post is useless to you. I guess I misunderstood the question. If you have the beta L1.61v bios with the support for the phenomII 6core 125W cpu. Does the updated 1.7v bios also have the Phenom II 6core support? Good question. If it does Asrock should state so in the description. If you were to flash to the updated bios. You could have a bios cpu mismatch. This would render the combination useless. Asrock also should update the CPU Support List. That is a very good question. I am curious to the answer also. I contacted Asrock and asked them. I'll let you know what they say when I here from them.

I got a reply from Asrock. Here is the questions I asked.
Does the updated bios version 1.7v offer suppoert for the PhenomII 6core 125W cpu? When will they update your cpu support list?
Here is the answer they gave me, as a Email from [email protected]
