freezing problem - asrock k7s41

I'm having problems with my computer system. It keeps freezing randomly or more so when it is under load. For example if I connect a usb device the system pretty much crashes right away. Or If I run a load of programs, the same tends to happen. To date I have done following:

• Overheating test - no problems there
• Memory test - no problems

Are there any known problems that cause freezing of the system?

Check the board for bulging capacitors and if need be replace any bad ones.
