I haven't read of any complaints, but it looks as if it could be sturdier.

Personally thought I think I'd stick a Thermaltake Smart Fan II on one. ;)

The fan pictured above looks to be an 80mm x 80mm x 38mm monster. The Thermaltake Smart Fans are 80mm x 80mm x 25mm but provide an adjustable fan setting that maxes out at just over 75CFM airflow and less noise. :)

Would that same retention mechanism work then or is there a way to screw it down?

There are several positions for the fan retainer to clip into so it can take most size fans from 60mm thru to the largest 80mm fans. ;)

That makes it more versatile. What does that baby cost in Australia? Looks expensive here.

With no fan it's double the price of a Volcano 7+. :(

Wow - Money would have to be absolutely no object then. If I were builing the ultimate overclock rig, I'd still want one.

It is an object but dont it look cool!!!!!!!!!!!
Pick mine up on monday with wiggo's idea of the smartfan 2.
heatsink was $110.00 aud. and fan was $27.00 aud.
Next I need to find someone who sells the coolmod for the smartfan. Australia, preferably Brisbane.
I'll post a pic. when its in.
