  • DDR3-SDRAM Slot (B1) on ASRock Motherboard malfunctioning?

    Hi,
i just put my PC together for the very first time and encountered following problem:
on my ASRock N68C-S UCC motherboard i installed 2X2048MB DDR3-1333 Dimms from Kingston. CPU is an "Athlon II X2 245 2 2.90 GHz".
The Bios beeps once and the pc works fine with all components installed (DVD Burner, HDD, and Grafik Card) only when either one of the Ram Dimms is placed in the first DDR3 slot (A1, blue slot). when the RAM is placed in both slots (A1+B1, both blue slots), there is no beep and the PC doesn´t boot.
I came to the conclusion that the B1 Ram slot is malfunctioning.
What is your opinion on that?

Thx in advance for any reply.
Working...
