  • Asrock ucc !!!!!!!! Help quick

    hey
i just bought a asrock 770DE3L motherboard and a AMD phenom II x2 555 black edition procceer hoping to unlock the cpc cores using the UCC feature. but when i go to the bios and look under OC tweaking there is no UCC option to enable or disable? there is no UCC at all. why is this? do i need different bios or something?

You definitely need motherboard than can support unlocking core(s) such as based on amd 785/790/890, x58. Due to ucc has been disabled in 890 series, only certain mobo will provide ucc feature.

I have the same problem but my mobo is n68c-s UCC which totally supports UCC but it doesnt appear in the OC tweaking Setup Utility. The ASROCK UCC that should be enabled is not where it should be its blank. my bios version is 1.3. any ideas...?

When did this happen? Is there a post on here about it? Thanks.

              Dear All,

Basically, AMD doesn't official support their CPU to unclock CPU core.
However, for Nedls123, for your question, the UCC option of 770DE3L is namely as "Advanced Clock Calibration".
Please set this option to Auto then try again.

This is an old post but I thought I would add this update: My ASRock 890gx Extreme 3, purchased this month, has UCC in its 2.40 BIOS. I enabled it, and my Phenom II X3 740 Black Edition (3.0MHz) now runs as an X4 Deneb "40" whatever the 40 means. All cores are fully functional under load.
