I have installed windows 7 64bit on a H55M board and installed all available latest drivers including the VIA HD Audio, no errors in device manager, sound devices has VIA HDMI as default output. Windows shows activity volume bars when testing the speaker configuration.
No audio is heard or output sensed according to my Sony AV HDMI receiver or when connecting direct to HDMI on TV (Video is OK).
HDMI audio is enabled in BIOS.
I suspect fault on Mainboard unless anyone can advise on configuration issue or change to resolve.
