Was swimming in the Gulf of Mexico & looked over & saw a large hammerhead shark. Screamed bloody murder & scrambled to get out of the water. Turns out the shark was dead. Very embarrassing.

I got ya.... swimming in the gulf of mexico seeing a fin outta the water and screaming shark shark ..... swimming to the shore only to find out it was a dolphin..... learning a lesson that sharks swim side to side and dolphins swim up and down.... i looked and felt like a fool that day

That's filth Doc....

Okay, okay...my sorta most embarrasing moment.
When my fella and I first started going out I worked at a pub and finished late (he started work at 6am) we used to go parking and he'd always fall asleep afterwards. I kept telling him if he did it once more I'd leave him there and walk home. Well I did just that (he was still naked when I left him  ), but the last laugh was on me, as I got lost on the way home, took me hours to work out just where I actually was. He ended up beating me to my place.

drpeterbright
09-03-2002, 08:44 PM
With or without his clothes?

StormyWeather
09-04-2002, 04:56 AM
Laughing.... now Dr... that takes skills!!!

Ok one of my most embarasing moments would have to be when I was 18 just about ready to get married to my ex husband... we went on a joy ride to the beach and one thing lead to another we were pretty much doing it in the car.... when up comes a cop and busts us..... they cop wanted us to get out of the car..... and I felt so stupid when I asked him if i could atleast put my clothes on first....

drpeterbright
09-04-2002, 07:26 AM
Once I was at the mall & bent over to pick something up & split my pants. No underwear were underneath & I did a lot of backing up to my car.

meihui
09-04-2002, 10:40 PM

drpeterbright
09-05-2002, 08:35 AM
I understand. More embarrasing for the jerk than for you.

meijuan
09-06-2002, 05:17 AM
Should have dropped it on his wallet.

drpeterbright
09-06-2002, 05:49 AM
You could have cut up his credit card saying that visa/mastercard whatever said to do that.

meijuan
09-06-2002, 07:59 AM
Not a bad idea. The boss might not be too happy with that approach.

drpeterbright
09-06-2002, 08:20 AM
Clear it with the boss first if he/she is cool.

meihui
09-06-2002, 09:36 AM
Boss not let me do

drpeterbright
09-06-2002, 10:38 AM
Yes it is definately better for job security to check first.

meijuan
09-06-2002, 09:25 PM
Confront the cheapskate as in "How could I improve my service so that you don't stiff me for the tip".

drpeterbright
09-06-2002, 10:56 PM
Or say how are my children suppossed to eat when you don't tip me?

meihui
09-07-2002, 01:11 AM

Walking with a friend and her dog (I have the leash.) and dog sees a cat and pulls leash out of hand and chases dog. 4 hours it took to find dog.

drpeterbright
09-07-2002, 05:34 AM
Your friend wasn't too happy with you huh?

meihui
09-07-2002, 06:17 AM
dog ok and did he eat cat

drpeterbright
09-07-2002, 06:54 AM
I hope not.

meijuan
09-07-2002, 07:46 AM
The cat tore the dog's face up but he eventually recovered and never chased a cat again. So be careful which cat you choose to tangle (and tango) with. Do you dance doc?

Wiggo's-sister
09-08-2002, 09:52 AM
I would say he does.

I can always remember a guy walking out of a toilet once with the paper dragging along behind him hanging out of his pants.
Can you imagine the ribbing he got, it was in a pub that this happened.

DaoWay

meijuan
09-13-2002, 08:35 AM
Men have trouble handling one woman. Two is out of the question.

drpeterbright
09-13-2002, 09:25 AM

meijuan
09-13-2002, 08:28 PM
Back on topic. (don't everyone faint!)

I went to American zoo and there was a petting zoo where you got to feed and pet various animals. When I bent over to feed a little goat, a bigger goat ran into my butt and knocked me down.

stormychef
09-13-2002, 09:50 PM
Yeah twins...before I left I managed to work out how to tell the difference between them. but at the same time I know i had slept with both of them...*thinks of strange ideas* "Wo" *shakes head* bad thought, bad thought, bad thought...:p

gironal
09-13-2002, 09:53 PM
This wasn't me, but a freind in the service.

He was walking down the sidewalk and saw a couple good looking girls on the other side of the road, he was so busy stareing trying to be cool. He didn't see the fire hydrant and ended up tripping over it makeing a fool of himself.

stormychef
09-13-2002, 10:11 PM
That would have been a laugh to see...but not so good for him I guess...:p

DaoWay
09-14-2002, 01:54 AM
Yeah gironal that brings a chuckle to the lips all right. I walked into a street sign once for the same reason. See what beautiful women can do to us.

meihui

meijuan
09-14-2002, 05:38 AM
Yes running into something while distracted by the opposite sex can be embarrassing.

drpeterbright
09-14-2002, 06:59 AM
Yet another embarassing moment for me was when I yelled out over my PA system in my SUV at some crazy slow tourist driver and it scared her right off the road. She was looking around like a UFO was hovering over her. Had to get out and explain to her what happened.

DaoWay
09-14-2002, 07:17 AM
I was 11 when my puppy (Star) met his maker.

meihui

Next thing he was hugging it calling it his girlfriend. We all laughed our butts off as he took the log into his tent and passed out. When we all got up in the morning he was the only one still sleeping. when he woke up he opened the tent and asked one of us where his shorts were. We busted out laughing big time. they were over by the rest of the logs. We never let that guy down we always say he was log hugging drunk. Who actually knows what he did with the log in his tent!!

StormyWeather
09-25-2002, 04:27 AM
You gotta add Florida to that list once you move here you'll never leave! I would not pick another state to live in besides florida Weathers great you can pretty much go to the beach any time you want. Well when it does sometimes get in the love 50's I tend to stay away from the water

pga1234
09-25-2002, 04:33 AM
I can't STAND the heat. Besides all those hurricanes/tropical storms arent for me...

StormyWeather
09-25-2002, 04:35 AM

StormyWeather
09-28-2002, 05:35 PM
Me too and the best part of that is .... is watching everyone around me look at me as if I was crazy!!

Wiggo's-sister
09-28-2002, 07:26 PM

Story from my holiday.

We travelled up to the Gold Coast with my sis-in-law and her family. We stopped to have a toilet break along the way. After coming back from the toilet to the car, my youngest decided to chuck a brown eye with cheeks fully parted. OMG!!!! what a sight. Well he thought we were the only ones around but.....there was a group of about 15 teenages just up further from us. You should have heard the jeers. Was funny as, found it hard to keep a straight face and disipline him about what he had just done. You just had to be there at the time.

stormybaka
10-09-2002, 12:37 AM
lol...sounds funny, I guess there are fun times as a mother...

Wiggo's-sister
10-09-2002, 12:50 AM
"SOMETIMES" being the operative word!

Ahhhh....you can always have a good laugh with them or at them.

Another story from our trip.

We went to the main shopping area on the Friday night. As you might not be aware the shops are open till around mid-night and they have street stalls along the beach front.

Well my boy was amazed at how many ppl we busking and decided to try it himself. (well, in a fashion).

He lies down on the ground, takes his hat off and starts waving it around, saying, *I'm poor, give me money*!

We started cracking up at him from the tone of his voice and ppl looking at him. The funniest part was he's dress up to the 9's wearing a good shirt, pants and shoes. We told him no-one would give him money cause he didn't look like he came out of the gutter. So he stands up and starts taking off his shirt. OMG!!! Well needless to say we stopped him there in his tracks.

Mind you a few ppl started to come back and were considering giving him money just for the effort.

*shakes head, he can't be mine.....surely*

stormybaka
10-09-2002, 01:28 AM
 He sounds like a good kid though...how old is he?

Wiggo's-sister
10-09-2002, 01:36 AM
He's 10, but the size of a 15 yr old.
He gets that warped sense of humour from his father though!!!

StormyWeather
10-10-2002, 03:34 AM

stormybaka
10-10-2002, 02:20 PM
You must have felt tired after that...:p Actually I find it funny to drive long distances considering with my directional sense I could get lost going to the letterbox...

Wiggo's-sister
10-10-2002, 02:23 PM
I was stuffed to say the least, but I still didn't end up going to bed until 2am. I don't have much of a sense of direction either.
*now, was that a left or a right at the first set of lights?*

Kay
10-10-2002, 05:01 PM
Turn watch if left and ring if right

stormybaka
10-10-2002, 05:31 PM
Have you ever asked for directions and the person says something like...
"Yeah I know where that is, it's right there..."
With such embarrasement to find that it's visibly just down the road...:o... :hmph:

Kay
10-10-2002, 05:50 PM

StormyWeather
10-11-2002, 05:46 AM
LoL... remembering when i was a kid I use to go to the store with my mom and i would walk around with my brother and start putting all kinds of stuff in other peoples carts .... it was funny watching a old lady at check out put a box of condoms and tampon and a douch on the counter she then looked and said hey these are not mine we busted out laughing

stormybaka
10-11-2002, 03:34 PM
 Fun story and all, hate to ask a stupid question, but what's a douch?...

Well today was my breaking point with my daughter!! I let her walk to the beach today with 2 of her girl friends. All I asked of the brat was be home before dark. She calls me at 7:45 and ask is she could say alittle longer I told her that her friends mother was on the way to pick them up my daughter goes and say ya she already did and we stayed. Well since she was calling already after dark I was pretty pissed and told her she was to start walking now!! Time goes by and no Amanda (my daughter) now its already 9:15 and I know it doesn't take that long to walk home from the beach complex so I got into my car and started looking for her. I found her on a corner with that scum sucker....I made a big U turn and drove up right on my daughter and that ewwww jurk I almost hit my daughter with my car!! I jumped out of my car and grabbed my daughter and threw her in the car!! The little freak thinks he is going to be barney bad a$$ and get smart with me I started walking up to him like to fight the little punk..... screaming at him if he doesn't stay away from my daughter I was going to beat the living _ _ _ _ outta him. Well since he started running away from me I picked up the kids bike and threw it... he comes running up to me like he is going to hit me.... boy I reached into my car and grab what ever I could find and started swinging (laughing I grab a spark plug wire that I had in my backseat as a spair) he was getting all mouthy as my daughter tries to get in the middle I threw her back in the car and got in my car myself!! I never had so much hate for a kid in my life as I do for this little scum bag!! This is not my first incounter with him. This is the same little jurk she skipped school with!! Well now I dont think I am going to have a problem with him anymore since my daughters now grounded for month(S) And after that she still is not going anywhere walking again!! I will do what ever means to keep that low life trailor trash kid away from my daughter!!
I am at my end's end with this whole situation. I moved over to the west coast to avoid those types of people.
Why is it that my daughter has to date people with a bigger rap sheet then most criminals out there????

Rap sheet='s who many times he has been in trouble with the law.
He dont go to school, he smokes cigarettes, probley pot too, he drinks and is a run away.
All I know is if that freak calls my house Im going to jump in my car and go to the house he stays at and rip the phone jack out of his house from the outside!!

You girls think you've got it tough?

I'll let you stand in my shoes for a day and have my 17 year old son and then I'd still wish you luck, knowing you'd never get through to him.

I won't go into details, but it tears your heart out seeing your kids doing things you yourself would never even think about doing in a million years. :(

........and the kinds of things he's doing atm are embarrasing and degrading to any parent out there.

Yes I agree almost hitting my daughter with my car was intense: it was not done on perpose: when i hit the brakes the car on the grass slid. If I was going to hit anyone it would of been the punk!!

I am at the end's end with my daughter I don't know what to do anymore!! I feel bad for her in someways, her father once I devorced him took off back to his country and has never paid a penny in child support... my other daughters father kinda took over the part of daddy and once I left him he desided he didnt want to be her daddy anymore and they had a really huge bond when she was growning up!! She doesn't get along with trick and she will not give him the time or day to get close but I dont blame her for her first 2 lost.

It just seems when I give her an inch she takes a mile!! When I start showing trust in her she breaks it. I know 13 is a hard age. But the way she is leading herself she will be one of those kids having a baby at 16.

I was 18 when I had her, and that was just to young. I gave up alot when I got married at such a young age (17) but at that time that was my choice. (I was blinded by the sight) I wish my mother would of not allowed me to get married. I wish she would of really talked some true since into me! "not that I would of listened" she did sit me down and ask me is this what you really want and I said yes.... so she said ok and signed the release... becaues I was married underage. If she would of sat me down and said don't do this It might of stuck in my mind and gave me time to think things over. But instead I was devorced at 19... guess I was actually married to the dothead for 2 years... lol thought it was just one year!!

I just dont want her making my mistakes and I will do what ever I can to prevent this from happening!! Girls are just so hard to understand!! I understand that kids make mistakes that it is all par for the course!! But when it comes to people she dates: if she cant bring the person over to my house for my approval then she will be boyfriendless!! What happened to the old days when the boy came over and took your child out to the movies. This is not the kids today.... I rather her date a kid alittle older then herself that can take her out and go places. As to these little thugs that will never amount to anything. He's a run away, he drinks smokes and totally disrespects others!! This is not someone that will be dating my kid!! I dont know today I plan on having a big heart to heart with her and if she doesnt change she will have a life of nothings because I wont do anything for her and will probably ship her off to bording school or sumthing!!

StormyWeather
10-23-2002, 04:04 AM
P.S. Wiggo wanna trade??? Atleast you wont have to worry about your son coming home prego... as I do with my daugher. Yes I know its the boy who gets the girl prego but when it comes down to the line its the mother of the girl that does all for the baby.

I think in general all kids are ment to give there parents gray hair!!

stormybaka
10-23-2002, 01:10 PM
:D Being 26 already, this is going to seem as an ironic statement even though it's too late to have kids now...Geez reading a few things here makes me think why do people become parents...
And a question Is there any age where they actually are a pleasure to be around...Kids I mean...

StormyWeather
10-23-2002, 02:55 PM
The pleasure of having a baby, is well worth any crap they may put you threw in the future. I know with my daughter we will come out have a good bond (hopefully) or she will eather hate me!! I know one day she will get her pay back when she has her own children!! And when she comes to me for advice I will laugh and say REMEMBER!!! Its just this generation is way outta wack!! Children here in the states have to many rights... I could go to jail for hitting my daughter. (its called child abuse) They want you to put them in time out!! But anyways, being of your age, its never to young but I think we have scared you forever lol.

tch tch tch.....u are being much too hard on the kid, at school we get hammered constantly about safe sex and the like, no guy with half a brain cell (and i'm sure even this guys got that) carries a 'raincoat' around with him, so the chances are quite small of ur daughter coming home with something extra in her.....

And secondly, if she keeps running back to this dude, have u thought that she might REALLY like him? Yeah i'm sure shes not thinking of anything serious like marriage, no kid our age does, but if u keep on keeping her prisoner in her own home, and not letting her venture out, there is a good chance she'll do what the other guy did.....run away, there is every chance she may do that, try and reason with, come to equal grounds about the kid, do u dis-trust ur daughters mind that much as to push her away from you?

You have a great point there: And it is nice to hear from someone around my daughters age. I have tried my best when it comes to the punk!! My first incounter with the jurk was when he called my house in the morning and asked for my daughter and I told him she had left to school. The jurk hangs up and calls right back... I told him once again that she had left to school and then asked him doesn't he go to school? No was the answer and I told him he need too cuz he doesn't understand english that my daughter has gone to school. He got smart with me and I told him not to call my house again: The little pest calls back and tells me not to boss him around that he can do what ever he wants to! Then I have a strick rule here no phone calls after 9 at night.... this little sucker calls my house 10, 11 and even 2 and 3 in the morning!! I got the chance to confront this little jurk and told him what was up.... then just a few days ago I took my kids to the beach complex and he was there and seemed to be nice.... Although he was calling me MOMMA B as in momma [email protected]@tch.... I still at this time gave the jurk the benifit of the dought and said ok.... but after this adventure not happening again.

My daughter is not brave enough to run away!! She would not even address the thought in her mind because she knows what will happen.... "right off to boot camp in a heart beat" Right now she knows she was wrong and has been avoiding any conversations about that day! She will in a few days come to me and try and be all nice but this time it will not work!! She has to learn the wrong's from the rights somehow and being grounded should should aid in this process!! She also new from the last time she was in trouble that I let her go pretty easy with the pure understanding that she will be grounded the full month next time.

Actually not the best embarrasing story, but one day comes to mind three things happened lost my virginity, moved out of home and stopped talking to my mom... but there was the first guy I was seeing, and also he was my coach and PE teacher and a very close friend we started to see each other when I was in yr 8, a year after we had met...it got serious quickly due to how much time and things we went through. We left the school at lunch and walked a few mins to my house and well you'll never guess my mom had a day off work and I didn't know, she walked out back to do laundry and well you never guess what she found on the washing machine... But she protested us so much and said I must change schools and never see him again...Actually that day he helped me move out and we lived together for about two years, but outside pressures were too much and we stopped seeing each other, but he is one of my best friends still...

Ummmm was the washing machine on lol...

Omg remembering this one time right before me and trick moved in with eachother, I was living with my parents and he came over one day.... LMAO just remembering: Lets just say trick came over and game me for the first time this little pill and tells me to take it.... sooooo I did the next thing you know , He is laying down in my bed and I am all loud and stuff laughing as my mom walks in the door and see's me spraying jel shaving cream all over the place... she looks at me as I was LMAO.... she says what the hell am I doing... (she thought I was drunk cuz we were drinking also) --- anyways.... she walks out and goes to watch tv.... now trick is laying on my bed sleeping when she comes in to find out why I was laughing so hard...... she see's me painting tricks finger nail... toe nails all these differant colors.... she just laughs and walks out..... now if that wasn't bad time goes by and the phone rings for me my mom answers it and comes in the room to tell me the phone is for me.... right then and there she busted us in the act.... I looked up at her and told her to tell whoever was on the phone call back later Im bussy!! My mom looked at me as if I was crazy and started laughing at me!!
All I remember really is when trick woke up the next moring and telling me that I better have nail polish remover and get the polish of his fingers...... so i did... remembers later on that day getting a phone call saying .... I am going to kill you: I said why.... he goes try explaining to your (his mother) why he had several differant colors of nail polish on his toes... I busted out laughing and said oppps I forgot!!

Kinda reminds me of when my first born was 2 she being a barney fan had some really great manners.... well me and her were in a resterant eating when she yelled out excuse me.... and stupid me asked her for what and she yelled out "I farted" i almost died that made everyone laugh as well..... kids they have the weirdest ways of embarising their parents

Both my girls are very protective with my son!! I remember taking my son to my older daughter school for an activity... when over in a distance these girls were pointing at her brothers face and whispering to eachother.... In amazement my daughter went up to those girls and said do you have a problem?? And then proceeded to say .... good cuz I would hate to have to solve it.... when the girls said no!!

My son has a light red birthmark on his face.... its pretty much considered to be port wine stain.... but happens to be alot lighter then most cases.... but is on a large part of his face and when he goes for his treatments... due to the laser it causes purple spots to be on his face.... he looks funny its hard for me not to laugh.... but they go away in a matter of weeks if that... once he is about 6 the mark should be completely gone.... but due to my sons condition they are very protective over him.....

If you have a look right down under this post I just made, it gives you the time of my post, a little blue arrow that flashes blue indicating to you whether I'm on line or not, a blue profile button, pm button, then my "WWW" button....etc. there you will find my homepage.

My pictures on the site were buggared up from when I used the last ftp to upload, so they're a bit out of shape, just haven't got around to fixing them yet.....being lazy I guess.

I went and played bingo with the old girls the other night and they had a new caller. Typical young male syndrome.
Anyway, the next number out was 13 and he calls 23 for some reason *must have been bored*. When he realises that he's called the wrong number he says aaaaaaaaah fu** it very loud over the microphone. You should have seen the old grannys faces, it was one funny moment for me and one embarassing one for him. All I could do through the whole game was keep bursting out laughing.
Poor guy, not that I felt sorry for him, it made my night seeing the jaws drop to the floor on the older women.

I've said far worse while playaing bingo, but, fortunately i wasn't behind the mic:laugh:

then what year are they in....at this point I looked helplessly at the old principal who then helped me out with the correct years......talk about embarrassment :o :o :o :o

This is more funny than embarrassing...atleast to me anyway. Some friends and I were sitting outside the local supermarket when a lady and her son(about 3 or so) are about to walk in. She stops to use the payphone, which is just outside the doors. Her son tells her about 3 times he need to go potty. He got tired of waiting and just pulled it out and pissed right out there in front. What made it worse was watching people walk going in and out walking through it. I'm not even sure his mom ever knew what happened.
