  • RAMDrive in Win2k

ok, this is the 3rd thread of the SAME topic, noone wants to even VIEW the others...

so i'll just end up posting this in *every* forum header on the board...

    anyway:

i got a ****load of ram, well over 1.3GB

and i just don't use that much, ever - even with all the apps i normally use open and running

so, i wanna use 810mb of that ram for a drive and copy over [s]movies[/s] err, files.. like IE cache and other misc. things

i found ONE app that almost does what i want, RamdiskNT

but it only lets me make a 256mb disk - that's not even half enough

    any ideas anyone?

    :?: :?: :?:

    yeah

    Don't

win2k will use as much ram as you throw at it you'll only end up slowing down your PC
