    It is interesting to read of original ideas for modifications. I hope this thread will reveal some. So lets see who is the first to suggest such a modification (hope the trend will continue on other threads too).

    Here is one. When adding fans to your case there are many times that it loads your power supply or take up power connections.
    One way of getting around it is installing fans that are powered from the grid. AC fans that are similar in spec to 12V dc fans are available.
    One can switch the fans on using a relay that is connected to the PSU's 12V line. Regular high voltage caution must be taken and a diode and capacitor should be soldered across the relays input.
    The fans are usually more rugged than 12V fans and make less noise.
