When 3DMark11 is pissing off both houses (AMD/Nvidia) why should I buy it?

Btw, all images in Sean's review are foggy

finally with 11.1 AMD has a driver to beat the old 10.5 in Mark 11

some progress here in driver bench performance
10.5 = 12,000
10.12 = 8,500
11.1 = 13,400

Hey all, with the setup i have in my sig (well almost-4.0ghz and 1600 9-9-9-24) I get a score of 6030. not too bad but several rigs with the same mb and cpu get 1000-2000 more points. What do you think my limiter is? I have also jacked up the gpu for some runs and only show like a 5pt increase. I am confused. Thanks....

No, I didn't sell it yet....and I tore down my HAF, guess I need to take it out of sig.
Sure, I'll be upgrading boards and processors, but not the case and all the water cooling. Too expensive to buy all that stuff all the time. But I will have two water cooled rigs.
I'm waiting to see if I want Haswell or not.

ive tried ive been upto 1.225v and it just crashes out with random coloured screen,i think im at the limit with 1.176mhz core any higher regardless of voltage it crashes,its a so so card,golden ones can go 1.200-1.225mhz core but im happy with mine,i keep it at stock voltage and 1050mhz and 1375mhz memory for 24/7 use

Are you a bad a** outlaw biker? :laughing:

A**hole Rating Self-Exam (ARSE) - Are You A Certified A**hole? (http://electricpulp.com/guykawasaki/arse/)

I just took the test and answered TRUE to all 24 questions. :clap: :laughing: :cackle:

My score = 24
0 to 5 “True”: You don’t sound like a certified a**hole, unless you are fooling yourself.
5 to 15 “True”: You sound like a borderline certified a**hole, perhaps the time has come to start changing your behavior before it gets worse.
15 or more: You sound like a full-blown certified a**hole to me, get help immediately. But, please, don’t come to me for help, as I would rather not meet you.

I had to uninstall the beta driver. It was wreaking havoc with my system, screens were blacking out, disappearing, FF didn't like it either. Shame, it was really fast when it worked.
At one point I thought one of my cards was wrecked, it was so bad....and since I recently blew out a PCIe slot on one of my boards I was really freaking. :blackeye:
Guess I'll wait for the final release.
