  • P67A-UD4 doesn't boot in OS and bios issues after failed overclock

I desided to save F8f bios to main bios too with Alt+f12 to avoid checksum error...
After increasing bclk with easytune6 my system freezing and reboots as usual from high bclk
After this my bios is corrupted I thing...
My bios screen freezes... not always
My system freezes in "loading operation system" screen or show me "TRAP 00000006...EXCEPTION..." error to disk with WindowsXP or "bootmgr image is corrupt the system cannot boot" error on disk with W7
I cleared cmos,i removed the battery for 1 hour and everything from the board, but nothing
I made a bottable usb to flash, but the system doesn't boot in DOS,i cant boot to windows to flash with @bios and every bios with q flash is invalid...
What can i do to save the board?

Re: P67A-UD4 doesn't boot in OS and bios issues after failed overclock

Can't you put in win7 dvd and press f12 at splash screen then boot from dvd drive/cd Rom and do a start up repair? You should do all overclocking in the bios not easytune as its less reliable

Re: P67A-UD4 doesn't boot in OS and bios issues after failed overclock

I tried that... same errors even with windows xp cd and with W7 dvd "TRAP 00000006...EXCEPTION..." error to disk with WindowsXP or "bootmgr image is corrupt the system cannot boot" error on disk with W7
Now the mobo doesn't boot at all... basically reboots and reboots continuesly :(
      Maybe i should RMA it

Try flashing with flashspi.exe from bootable usb stick.

How high did you push the bclk??? Bclk is not adjustable on sandybridge. You have some room to adjust but i think 107 is absolute max. Anything over could have hurt something.

            No so high...
            I raised it to 102.7
I am so disapointed with this mobo... Now the mobo starts for 2 sec and reboot all the time... 2 sec and reboot

Try overnight battery removal, unplug your SATA cables n plug back in,just plug one stick of ram in too,not sure of correct slot though on that mb,you would need to look in manual
