  • DEL key no longer works. P8P67 Pro

I can no longer get into the BIOS with the delete key.

Here is what happened prior to this problem.

I went into BIOS (DEL key) and changed to Advanced Mode. Then I pressed the Key to load the optimized defaults, then when I pressed the AI Tweaker tab I got a screen that was basically blank. The background was there but no text. I panicked and exited the BIOS (saving changes). Now *I can't enter BIOS with the DEL key.

    Can anyone help.

Never mind, I figured it out the del key issue. I remembered that the Optimized defaults would set Num lock on at boot. I have a gaming keyboard and the Del key is on the numeric keypad, so at boot time that del key was actually the '1' key. even pressing the numlock button didn't help. I used an old ps2 keyboard to get around this.

I went into bios and changed numlock to off.

That just leaves the blank screen issue. Note that it's OK now, it just was blank after I loaded the optimized defaults.
