i have asus M4A88TD-M

it said that it can support 6gb/s hdd i have 1tb seagate 6gb/s 7200.12rpm

but my motherboard only reading 3gb/s how can i make 6gb/s thanks :) sorry for my english :cackle:

I think the 6GB/s Seagate starts with 2TB - 1TBs are all 3GB/s

what is the specific model name of your Seagate HDD? and the firmware on the HDD as well?

it's said 6gb/s but sad to say my motherboard read only 3gb/s :(

i set my motherboard to 6gb/s in bios but still it reads 3gb/s :( help me guys

sounds like a compatibility issue then - if it's set in the bios it should work!

got latest bios?

my motherboard bios is already latest, i set my sata to 6gb/s but still my motherboard read only 3gb/s and sometimes my pc is freezing... so i hace set it back to 3gb/s i will eamil asus about this :(

you can email Asus but my experience is you're better off here, or on www.asusrog.com (http://www.asusrog.com).
