I wasn't going to say anything, but after speaking to Kay tonight on the phone she told me to get into the b/g and tell you guys that she's sick and expects some get well greets from you all.
As most of you know Kay has been sick for the few weeks. All of us believing this was a sinus virus that she had.
On Friday Kay went for an MRI scan. Well early yesterday morning the Doctor rang her to say that she has a blood clot in the base of her brain and that she must get to hospital ASAP.
At the present time they are giving her blood thining medication. Either tomorrow or the next day they are going to perform an angeogram (SP?) to see what's going on. Also during the last few weeks this blood clot has caused a few minor strokes which she should recover from.
Lets us wish her all the best and a speedy recovery. My thoughts and prayers are with you Dear.
I have 5 sister-in-laws, 2 which are fairly highly rated, but Kay above all being more of a sister and a friend rather than just a sister-in-law.
