Asus P7P55D-E LX - CPU Very High Temperature

I am having a desktop system as this just months ago:

Mobo: Asus P7P55D-E LX
BIOS Version: American Megatrends Inc. 1602 , 2010-12-16
Proc: i5-760
RAM: Corsair Gaming DDR3 1333MHz 2GB x 2
Casing: COOLER MASTER Gladiator 600 Black w/ 460W PSU
Overclocking: Never
CPU Cooler Fan: Original

I installed Asus Utility PC Probe II to monitor the temperature:
- at very low load (web surfing) - CPU temp. = 59 C; MB temp. = 39 C
- running Prime95 stress test, CPU temp. = 104 C; MB temp. = 39 C

Even though I live in a hot country (Malaysia), this is still too ridiculous. I thought I am the only case, but another friend of mine who uses the same cpu and mobo is facing the same problem. A computer shop technician suspected it to be a mobo problem.

Would anyone please help me to solve this?

That can't be right as your CPU would shut down to protect itself when 100c is reached,download and run coretemp or realtemp or aida64 and see what they tell you for CPU temps,best use all 3 for a more accurate reading

Go and buy a good quality cooler,one with a mb backplate,stock coolers are useless

Thank you for your info. I have installed the 3 programs you suggested, plus SpeedFan 4.43.

I tried 2 times, one disabled TurboBoost, the 2nd time enabled TurboBoost. On both times was using AIDA64's System Stability Test.
On both times, all the 4 monitoring programs (AIDA64, RealTemp, Core Temp, and SpeedFan) report similar readings (+/- 1 C).

Below are the result:

Room Temperature: 27 C
CPUs Temp. when idle or low load: 49 - 51 C
MB temperature: 39 C (no change with or without stress test)

TurboBoost Disbaled:
=============
All 4 CPUs temp: 72 - 80 C

TurboBoost Enbaled:
=============
MB temperature: 39 C
All 4 CPUs temp: 81 - 89 C

I don't know why the temperatures are so high. I suspect these are the possible reason:

a. CPU fan
b. mobo's temperature sensors inaccurate
c. mobo malfunction

how bout the airflow and thermal paste? I suggest re-build ur rig dude, and make sure apply hi-quality thermal paste

It depends on ambient temps too,and your using the Intel stock cooler which isn't very good,make sure all four pushpins are pressed down fully on the CPU heatsink

Is the CPU cooler mounted correctly? Are all the little black lugs properly into the motherboard? The motherboard and ASUS software simply reads the internal thermal probe within the CPU - as do other programs like SpeedFan or CoreTemp - so it's highly likely your cooler is not installed properly.
