Nice looking ride kick.... are those 20's? I'd suggest a nice white or blue pin stripe down the side and raised white outline letters on the tires. Oh wait their small tires height wise so impossible.

Yeh 20" wheels with 35 profile tyres ,the ride is fine on em .
I dont have em on the car again until say end of Feb,playing russian roulette with winter potholes would be no fun at all.
I was thinking of some carbon fibre vinyl wrap(have it bought already),for B pillars ,door mirrors n maybe the plastic side strips.
Stripes Im not too sure about.
Got led bulbs and real HID(ballast resistor) bulbs for the driving lamps.Dipped and main beam are regular filament nightbreakers.

Re: New Cars vs old Cars

Well, your newer car may get crushed by an older car but you'd fare better in the crash. Older cars do not have crumple zones and relied upon rigidity to attempt to save the passegers. As you well know, without hte car crushing to take the force of the impact, YOU take the force of the impact and either slam into the windsheild/dashboard or you are catapulted backwards at such a speed you are likely to have brain damage/broken neck from wiplash.

So while I agree your car may get more superficial damage than an older solid car in a crash, you are far far more likely to survive the crash while the person in the older car would be almost guaranteed to suffer major injuries in anything more than a 20KPM crash.
