  • Xonar D2X driver not working after connecting Transformer Prime to my PC

I connected my Transformer Prime to my PC to see how the PC software works and ever since I did that, my Xonar D2X drivers have stopped working properly with a Code 52 in Device Manager (could not verify digital signature).

I had to reboot my PC to finish installing the Transformer Prime drivers after connecting it to my PC and that's when the problem started.

Anyone got any ideas? I've tried doing a repair install already but can't think of anything else.

EDIT: Just tried an uninstall and reinstall of the Xonar D2X drivers (using the latest drivers listed on the Asus website). No joy there either.

i got the xonar dx and iam really happy with the modified drivers:

    • Updated OpenAL 2.0.4 to 2.1.0 (for everyone how uses the GX function) -since v1.0
    • Fixes and improvements through three different versions of the driver. See the table below

I ended up solving the problem by uninstalling the driver, running Driver Sweeper in Safe Mode then reinstalling the driver.

Thanks for the idea on the unified drivers .. maybe it solves my BSODs when I have my Thunderbolt card plugged in (Xonar+KillerNIC combo from CHV mainboard). Might give it a go again... cost enough to get it :)
My advice - never visit a short-url, no matter who gives it to you. You can't trust any source at any time when you don't know your target
Whitey:Snuggles: Zotac Zbox HD-ID40 (Atom d525, worst purchase ever on cpu), Patriot Pyro 60GB (Thanks to Tweaktown Giveaway), 4GB 800' DDR2 SO-DIMM
        Bcube (NAS): ASUS F1A75-I Deluxe, AMD A6-3500 @ 2.1GHz, LSI 9240-8i (M1015) controller, GSkill Ares 1866 8GB blue kit, 4x Seagate SV35.5 2TB, 1x Seagate Barracuda 1.5TB, 1x Samsung HD103UJ, 1x Samsung F4 2TB, Temp. Rebel9 Alu case, Corsair H60, 2x Icy Dock MB973SP-B, NZXT UI01, Enermax T.B. Silence on docks and cpu, Aurum 500W gold PSU. (Draws 65W average, doesn't peak above 100W at any time)
