Hi there,

I've just managed to setup a LAN in my house linking 2 PCs ... really excited to test it out with some LAN games.

Do you have any recommendation of LAN games especially for ladies? :p

Thanks!

I really don't know. What kind of games do you like? (make sure you post alot not too many girls in the forums... Check out the beer gardens "games" section :))

i think a good lan game for all the gender would be a MMORPG, like Dark Age of Camelot. I know many couples play this gameonline together. My girlfriend, who hate videogames, took a particular intrest in this game. Unfortunately, she does not have a good enough computer to play it!!
But that is my suggestion

Well it's not a video game section. It's for forum games... Anyway what type of games do you like? Everyone is different...

Well, for starters, I like The Sims ... but there is no online possibilty, so ....

oh, there's one older game which was one of my all time favorites ... Bubble Bobbles

My guess is that there is very few, if not zero LAN/Online games made for girls

There arent many choices unless you like first person shooters... Do you like playing in an active world? There is a new pc game coming out called: Earth and Beyond. Where you man your own star ship and play in an interactive world. But other than that the only good games out are first person shooters...

well you never know these days almost anyone can like almost everygame by any person. In fact the next lan party that I'm attending there is this girl that said "WOH you play counter strike? I love that game! I'll kick your @$$ in it!!!" so you never know...

you could try an RTS like Warcraft 3, or Age of Empires II or something along those lines. They seem to be reasonably popular with a fair few females...

UT2003 will be a big hit with the ladies...it even has a taunt specifically designed for chicks: "you play like a girl"

RUN! She's coming now!!! aaaaaaaaaaaaah.

Anyway, will sims online cost money per month? The other MMORPG's do, but that might not be a MMORPG...

my girlfriend loves Day of Defeat, The Sims, Hearts, Sim City 3000..

there might be a few others too... oh yeah, she like the look of Neverwinter Nights, so maybe an RPG or diablo would be a chick-able game..

If we can get a good list of chik-games goin, maybe it can be used to entice more of the femailz to LAN partys :D

mmmmmmmm.....a female LAN party ...can be really fun with some imagination;) .....

WC3 is alotta fun in a lan you can talk smack afterwards and you can also team up against others online on b.net or against the computer.

You can do the same with counter strike, log in ( you will need to different serial #'s on each computer) and play against others and team up on people.

Can't wait for UT2003 online.

Personally... I have played all the sims.... and the others that were mentioned. But my personal favorite game is Soldier of Fortune II... Before I played this game I was never into shoot em up bang bang games. But all it took was one shot at SOF and I was hooked.... I played Half life and Ghost recon and red faction but didnt find any interest in them.
With sim's the only time I ever had fun with them is when I found the cheat codes....
I also have 2 computers up and running.... This makes SOF even more fun when my other halfs friend is play or even my other half at that and we are in the same room but both on different teams.... and when I find them and shot em I get way to excited... Jumping up and down say Ha I killed ya... Laughing the guys get so pissed cuz I kick there butts.

Bubble Bobble yum one of my all time favorites. One of my former girlfriend's was a big EverQuest fan. She liked playing it online it is a subscription game but a lot of people do play it. Sims has an online game coming soon. Scrabble is fun to play online at microsoft's internet gaming zone [www.zone.com] there always seems to be ladies in the scrabble game rooms.

Quake 3 got me into gaming. Easy to figure out. Not a brain strainer. Just go easy on the railgun. No one likes a showoff. lol
