  • Book Suggestions

Well, on Wednesday (16th) i'm heading off to Thailand for 2 weeks, and I got ****ed over with the flight. Gotta be at the airport two hours before...then for some reason we're going to have to go down via melbourne (i'm in sydney) and stay at that airport for 3 hours to pick up all the melbourne people (*******s)... then after a 9 hour flight, we will arrive in Bangkok, where we stay in that airport for a few hours waiting for a plane to go to Phuket (pron. Pooket not ****et :)). An hour on that plane and we're there.

    How ****ed is that...

The reason I am posting is that I need some suggestions on what book I should get to read during this time. I don't like fantasy fiction bull****, i'd like to learn something. Preferably on the topic of computers.

Pick a topic you'd like to know, such as UNIX or Network Analysis, and get a textbook on that (around $60-$100).

That should keep you occupied - and they can be quite informative as well :)
What came first - Insanity or Society?

Well he did ask for our opinion, then made very narrow guidelines to follow, maybe a few good Sci fantasy tales might broaden his outlook
