MOV file decoder

Anyone know where I could download a codec or whatever to allow mediaplayer to play mov quicktime movie files? My XP box isn't connected to the net so I can't let it search itself.

its not a codec, but you already said the program in your post: quicktime

I just thought there might be some way to get mediaplayer to play them. It's going to mainly be used by kids and I only wanted them to use mediaplayer because it looks nicer with the themes.

unless there is some 3rd party codec for wmp you will unfortunatly have to go with quicktime :(
