Been working on this issue for about 3 weeks...
Gigabyte EP35-DS3L Rev 1
and
eVGA Geforce 210 1GB
CPU-z/GPU-z have always shown the video card running at PCIe 1.1 x1 and never at PCIe 1.1 x16.
I have tried every possible suggestion from TweakTown, Tom's Hardware etc.
SOLUTION:
1. Upgrade the BIOS to F7a, because there are 'hidden' options. This beta BIOS seems to only be available from here:
http://oldforum.gigabyte.de/forumdownload/betabios/20100811/EP35DS3L.zip
2. Boot to the main BIOS screen and press Ctrl + F1 to unlock the hidden options
3. Go to the MB Intelligent Tweaker(M.I.T.) settings
4. Make sure System Voltage Control is set to Manual
5. Change the (G)MCH DeOverVoltage Control to [-0.10]
6. Save settings and exit!!
My cheep Geforce 210 has now stopped bottlenecking at x1 and there are no longer audio stuttering issues. DPC Latency Checker is now always in the green!
Hope this helps a few people.
