I'm not sure what you mean by that but here goes.

For unlocking this interactive guide will show you what bridges need to be closed for unlocking (or combinations of for relocking).

This here is the best method to carry out the above.

Now if you're just doin' plain straight overclocking then this guide (though dated now) will have the necessary tips to follow plus checking all the details of your motherboard and BIOS in the motherboard's manual (if ya don't have one then download one from the manufacturer) as this will show you where all the settings necessary can be changed.

    Good Luck :thumb:

HighSpeed PC Athlon XP Unlocking Kit has worked well for me. And keep an eye out for a new Athlon overclocking guide that I should have ready to post within a day or two. :)

        It just went live. :)

              To all thank you,
I have now successfully unlocked my chip. That said it occured with a cost. I burned up my 2000 xp arrggggh. So I got the 1600 for trial and error. Dont ask how I burnt up the 2000 chip. Dumb ass newbie mistake. Anyway, was using the pc unlocking kit but was unable to do it on my 2000 chip after at least 35 attempts no kidding. However I somehow found success with this chip (xp 1600). Not sure if it was me or the chip.

I would insert a wcpu picture but I dont no how to. I have only set my multiplier at 11 @ 133 fsb. Just happy to get there. Now I will slowly increase to see how far I can go on just air cooling.

Again thanx to all for your assistance.

As long as you have some good case cooling and then a nice HSF you should be fine :thumb:.
