Running UT from your HD?

I have recently ... ermm... aquired UT via P2P and it installed ok but won't run - nothing happens! Do I need to burn the files to a CD - is UT looking for a CD or am I missing something here?

demo or that dodgy beta that was going around? Either way, it should run from your hard drive. Check all documentation to see how it works

The full version UT2003 (recently released...not the beta) needs the CD in the drive to run, yes.

There are NOCD patches available from places like GameCopyWorld.

So the proper full version ISO is floating around P2P programs already?

I haven't looked but I assume so, given its release in the US. Online play requires a CD key from what I've heard, so that's holding back some people so far I'd say.
