I just bought a 680, and I installed it, works like a dream. but when I turn the computer on with the hdmi cable plugged into the graphics card instead of the integrated hdmi output, the monitor shows no signal until the welcome screen of windows. It boots fine and shows normally when using the integrated output though. Any suggestions on how to make it display from the beginning? It's incredibly frustrating moving my computer and plugging the hdmi back into the integrated just to go into the BIOS. My specs are as listed below if it helps:
3770k
maximus v formula
asus directcu ii 680
thanks in advance for any help :)

did you set first initial display as peg in the bios, then save and exit

then connect hdmi cable to the graphic card and see if you get the startup splash screen ect,you might need to flash to the latest motherboard bios aswell

Do you have more than 1 monitor? The boot sequence shows up on the monitor that is considered your primary monitor.
