ASRock FM2A85X-ITX HDMI audio not working

My HTPC is incomplete without sound ! Actually, I can get stereo sound out through the analog out jack, but I want the HDMI sound to work.

The picture via HDMI cable works great. And when I first built this HDMI AUDIO WORKED, but after I had to re-load Win 7, it quit.

I've downloaded new drivers, etc to no avail. I've tried different HDMI cables, different ports on the TV, etc.

This is a screen-cap of my audio drivers.



Any ideas ??

Just fixed the same problem. You need to update the catalyst engine. it's available at AMD.com under support/drivers. Just follow the "find your driver" dialogue.

Thanks for the tip. Going to try this after work. Hopefully it fixes my issue.
