it seams like ASUS gave up on updating the bios for p8z68-v/gen3 on a regular basis. does anyone know where i can get a solid bios updated with the latest oroms. if this board had a backup i would play with it myself, but as it is i cant afford to replace it.

not sure,they have to be modded to include latest oroms
the bios chips do pull out though,and you can get a replacement chip off ebay,(if you wanted to have a play)

Well the z68 boards where three plate forms ago, Have you tried the ROG forums? Think you might find what you need if you sniff around there. there are beta bios out there, you just have to sniff them out. The Z68's were a pretty solid board so I don't see why they would need updating as they are pretty much EOL?Originally posted by Solraven View Post
