Contrary to some of the PR that's been spinning lately, Microsoft will not be pulling the Xbox from the Australian market.

Microsoft will not be pulling Xbox out of the Australian market. Only last Friday Australian newspaper The Age reported that Microsoft CEO Ballmer stated his company was seriously reconsidering selling its console in the country where mod-chips are legalized by court ruling. A Microsoft spokeswoman explained it was a misinterpretation on your end if you believed Ballmer's remarks referred to Xbox. The company is still committed to selling in Australia she went on, but she fail to point out what Ballmer really meant to say and to what he was referring. (Reuters)

They wouldn't be able to pull it out of Australia anyway.. it would be a breach of fair trade practices.

I don't like X-Box so I really don't care too much. But people would find ways of getting them there anyway.
