Most commercially available CPU coolers under 100mm in height will fit. Do you have one in particular in mind? Nice MB, BTW.

Both of those will work, however I haven't seen any reviews of the Janus or availability in stores. Another option you can think of is the Noctua NH-L9i.

I have a similar question. I have the PC-Q28 holding an ASUS Z87I-DELUXE with a GTX 780 and two sticks low profile RAM. Would this cooler fit:

Noctua.at - sound-optimised premium components "Designed in Austria"!

If not this cooler, can you recommend a good cooler for an i7-4770K in this setup?

          Many thanks

            Hi Jejudo,

This cooler would be fine. The PC-Q28 takes CPU coolers up to 100mm and this is 93mm tall. I have heard good things about this cooler too.

              Re: PC-Q28 and CPU cooler

From the Noctua NH-L12 web page:
Caution: The NH-L12 is a low-profile quiet cooler designed for use in small form factor cases and HTPC environments. While it provides first rate performance in its class, it is not suitable for overclocking and should be used with care on CPUs with more than 95W TDP (Thermal Design Power). Please consult our TDP guidelines to find out whether the NH-L12 is recommended for your CPU.
With excellent case cooling, it sounds like a modest 4770K overclock will probably be OK.

Thanks for both of your replies; much obliged.

I went ahead and purchased the NH-L12 cooler. One concern I have is that I will only have ~7mm space between the CPU fan and the PSU fan, both pointing towards each other. Will this be a problem?

Should be fine. You can also reverse the PSU placement with the fan facing the side panel similar to what was done in the Benchmark Reviews review.
