Hi

I have been forwarded to this forum from the Asrock one.
I am interested in getting the new Asrock A88x itx mobo, but cannot seem to find any 2133 MHZ RAM in a 2*8 GB dual setup for it.
I am interested in
G.Skill Ripjaws Z F3-2133C11D-16GZL (2x8GB) 16GB DDR3
but this does not seem to be on the QVL or memory support list for this A88X for Asrock(their list does seem a bit limited) or any of the other Asrock A88x mobos. I have seen in in the QVL for the equivalent Gigabyte A88X mobo (matx and itx), but the Asrock memory support list seems quite limited. BTW I am intested in getting the Asrock itx mobo as it has 6 SATA ports.

regards

Stephen

There are some gskill kits in the QVL for that board, but you are correct I don't see your particular kit. However it should work,if the board recognizes the xmp profiles correctly. to be safe though I would recommend you try to find something on the QVL.

Hi,

Although it shows 2400Mhz on Asrock's QVL list, it's overclock for 2133Mhz and up(check the end of the QVL).

For 8GB x2 memory kit, we will sugget 1600Mhz, and 4GB x2 kits for 1866Mhz. (XMP only)
