  • Whats a decent bench score ?

I'Ve been tweaking this and that and I've checked my scores on pcmark 2002 and 3dmark 2001.
    Here's the results >>>>
    PCMARK 2002
    CPU- 6183
    MEM - 5926
    HDD - 1101

    3D MARK 2001
    SCORE- 9167 3D MARKS.

    SYS SANDRA
    MEMORY BANDWIDTH INT - 2557 & FLOAT - 2543
    CPU BENCHMARK - MIPS - 4908 & FLOPS - 1318/3070

    MY SYSTEM >>>
    PENTIUM 4 - 2.4 @2.52GHZ- 533FSB
    RAM - 512MB DDR333 PC2700
    GRAPHICS - GEFORCE 3 TI 500
    OP SYS- WINDOWS XP PRO
    Standard cooling etc.

How do these scores compare to other similar systems, are they good, bad or just plain ugly ???? Speak to me. CHEERS !!!!!!!

Ok then just to keep ya happy. :devil win
These two PC's are only hardware tweaked and run the drivers that came with their cards, no software tweaks as yet.
This is PC No.2 in my sig (9 months old).

That's the piece below our posts. Mine's that table with links in it. The PC links take you to pages that give hardware details and links to the manufacturers of those parts that I can. ;)

Again I must sound real stupid, but you say it means signature, why does pga1234 (look above) say "scores and rig in sig (signature)".
                      Whats with the "sig" ?
I'am truley not being funny here, I cant suss this out, please enlighten me.

Well in his sig (at the bottom of his post) it has the table with his hardware listed and below that is the scores he get for certain benchmarks. ;)

[edit] Sorry I just thought of something, do yo have "signatures" turned off in your user control panel? :?:
