I don't know if this works but has anyone tried this...hooking up your Xbox to your TV card and playing it on your monitor?

I don't have a TV card right now, I plan on getting one soon.

Yeah, that works fine. I used to play my Playstation 1 / 2 on my computer, before I got rid of my TV card. All you'll need to make sure you've got is some way of hooking up the sound.

Cant you just hook it up to ur line in on ur sound card?

Yep. If your soundcard doesn't have RCA inputs, just get a converter.
