For the purpose, I installed old Yamaha sound card in Windows XP 32bit. The sound card anyway works.
But I can't use legacy sound as picture shown. My old mainboards like 3 or 4 series chipset never have this issue.
The IO address is not used by any hardware in device manager,(view resource in device manager) but cannot use them with errorcode 12.

How could I mapping address 220 and 388 (legacy sound blaster area) to my sound card? It looks someone reported ASUS Z77 didn't have this issue but Asrock and Gigabyte does. Should I change the M/B for use this soundcard?
