      I don't believe that we have said that Intel sucked... just that you got much better Bang-for-the-Buck with the AMD line.

      btw... does anyone know what kind of results that the Northwood chip has gotten with normal overclocking?

        I wasn't referring to you Darth - other have said that though

        And some people have got around 2.9GHz with H20 cooling, about 2.5GHz with air :)

            Hey I linked this article@Tom's Hardware this morning in the news where they took a 2.2GHz P4 to 3.1GHz with watercooling. :smokin:

                              Yeah, I somehow get the feeling they've tinkered before...they also had an open-ended voltage mod to the mobo as well.... a fantastic result though...especially the gaming at 3.5gig...thats awesome....

                              In the past though, the extreme overclocks using ln2 have usually ended up being where the future production steppings wind up. That's good news for the Northwood scalability......
