  • Pentium 4 temps too high??

I just bought a 2.4B P4 with an Asus P4PE motherboard and 512 Corsair memory.

What is worrying me about my setup is the fact that Motherboard Monitor reports around 54 degrees Celcius at idle and 67 degrees Celcius when playing games. Case temp maxes out at between 38 and 40 degrees Celcius .

Guys, I am worried as hell that something is wrong... please reply with some info...

    Thanks in advance

Ok then take the side off your case while running and see if the temps drop any. If they do then ya need some extra airflow in that case. :devil win

try modding ur case by drilling away some holes and throwing some fans in...... or a case which has good airflows like the antec cases..... but if u have a good case w/ some fans then all i'll say is Uh oh :D
does ur pc freeze which playing games????
