I just rebooted Windows 7 Pro on my Asus U56E and the CD/DVD now no longer works. From Device Manager, I have tried uninstalling device, updating driver, and scanning for hardware change. This has happened to me before - I just can't remember what I did to fix it! When I put a disc in the drive it starts reading but then makes a funny clicking sound. It does this three times and then stops trying to read. Anyone familiar with this story who can help?
