  • CoolerMaster Case

I am thinking of getting a CoolerMaster Case. Do I have to run all 4 fans that come with it? My present case has one fan, which is on the PSU, and which blows air down a cowling onto the Processor. I have never had any trouble with it, and it is a lot less noisy than some cases. I dread to think what 4 case fans, a PSU fan, and a Processor fan would sound like. I intend making the CoolerMaster a P4 system

It would be better to run with all fans but quieter fans can also be obtained though a link to the case in question can possibly shed more light. ;)

        From review
[b]The four factory installed case fans are 80 mm YS Tech FD1281253S-1N sleeve bearing fans that produce 27 CFM's at 22.5 dBA's (the same model fans used in the earlier version of this case). A rough estimate would be that combined they produce a noise level of only 31.5 dBA's (things start to get irritatin' at about 42dBA), which for four case fans relates to fairly quiet efficiency.
Well with that fan layout all 4 should be used but if they havn't changed the fans supplied then this should be a quiet case and most likely you'll hear the fan of the CPU. ;)

Many thanks. Does that sound like a decent case to you?
