I'm trying to decide between buying an XBOX or spending that money on my computer.

Has anyone tried this?

Is your intent to run your PC on an HDTV? I guess for the best possible graphics you will need a video card that can handle teh 1080x720 resolution so fonts don't look so wierd like they always do when hooking up a pc to a tv.

And as far as the XBox vs PC question, in general I would say a PC, but if all you are gonna do is play games then hell, save some dough and get the XBox. Then you can play BattleCry and Mech Assault.

I am happy not to help ...

i have tried the DVI out on my videocard on a Plasma HDTV and o it worked great but i dont see myself buying that Sony tv for ONLY :cantfocus $17000Cdn. To hook it up i just used a regular Dvi to Dvi cable. If you want to get into a Good Videocard and any DVI or HDTV TV expect to pay at least $3000CDN on the TV and you may need an HDTV decoder for that tv so thats like another $800CDN as i can see it true HDTV is here but its not worth the money wait till the price goes down in a year or so if u really want HDTV
