Short of ones goals

I am soo close, to my goal and can't seen to get to the promised land of 2800+. I am running a Asus A7V333 board and a 2400+ XP, I (without unlocking so far) have gotten to a PR 2763+.
I am at 15 x 145/36 MHz @ 2.17Ghz. My V-Core is at 1.70. Any higher and windoze XP crashes in minutes with a massage reading that my video crashed or instability in XP itself.:cry:
Am I going to have to unlock it to go higher or just missing somthing here?
I could use some advice on this, I don't want to unlock it yet. Wife wants this processer for her next system.

Can ya increase ya memory and AGP voltage as an extra 0.1v-0.2v on each may help here but something on ya PCI bus maybe baulkin' ya such as a nic or internal modem. ;)

I don't use SETI as a benchmark itself but I do use it for stability testin' by runnin' it while runnin' other benchtests or heavy 3D games which puts a hell of a load on the system. :devil:
