I just got all my new computer parts and i have a real bad 3dmark score. i was wondering if anyone has any ideas or sugestions why.
heres a list of what i have...
p4 2.0 o/c to a 2.2
epox 4g4a m/b
512mb ddr 2100 ram
geforce mx420 (soon to be a ti4400)
40 gig matrox, and a 15 western digital h/ds

my best score was 4026 on 3dmark2001
i know the mx420 sucks but i thought it should of been better then that...
any hlep would be great ...

That's fairly close to bein' right as the 420 model has only half the bandwidth available to the memory that the 440 and 460 have. These two guidesmay help yaextract a bit more but don't expect to much from a doublely crippled card. ;)

I had just reinstalled Windows and applied the new drivers and scored in the ball park of 6900 with a MX420 by visiontek. I too will still be replaceing this card. Thought it was a good buy at the time about 2 years ago.
