I know for most it just means another long weekend, but us Aussies should take a moment to take in how well we've gone over the last 100 or so years from when Capt Cook sailed into Botany Bay and founded Australia and then we see what it has transformed into today.

Who would have ever thought The Matrix, 2 and 3 would have been filmed in Australia? That itself is enough to make one shed a tear... :laugh:

The Australian Commonwealth government was formed a little over 100 years ago.

Capt Cook discovered Australia around about 215 years ago, according to my maths.

Well currently your time is 1:10pm Sunday the 26th right?
Our time in Aus NSW is 12:12am Monday 27th.
