Epox 8K5A2 or 8k5a2+

What i really want to know is what's the difference between the to?

Price is around $20 -30 but why would I go for the + one?

These are just a few I have looked up any help in choosing one would be very helpful

If ya don't need hardware sound or extra drive space (it doesn't have to be used in RAID format) then get the lite weight racin' special. :devil:

I've got the 8K3A and the 8K5A3+ and both rock. :thumb:

Well the later would rock better if it wasn't stuck with a Thoroughbred "A" XP2200+ but then it's goin' to be a server so it doesn't matter. :devil win

My next question is what is the higest CPU i can put on this board
Ep-8k5a2+ on the Epox web site they say a xp2600 now since the EpoX 8RDA+ is out should i go for this board as it susports higger cpu's so is this board a better buy? i am buying some xms3200 ram would it be better on the 8rda board than the 8k5a2+?

Can i use xms3200 ram on this board or is it overkill or will it simply not work?

I see people have in their sigs that have this board and they only pc2700 ram so now i think maybe i can't use this Ram but Wiggo in your thunder computer you have the xms3200 but on a 8K5A+ MB i looked up the specs for both and they look the same :?: :?:

Thunder uses the 8K5A3+ which has the Highpoint 274 controller to which up to 8 extra drives can be connected which is why I'll fit it soon with a gigabit nic and change it to a full on dedicated server. ;)
