Screen saver prevents standby and hibernate.

Is there a way to stop the screen saver from preventing the computer to go into standby or hibernate.
i do not want to disable the screen saver. but still want the computer to go into standby or hibernation automatically.

Depending on the motherboard, you may have problems with the hibernation anyway, but the screensaver shouldn't have any effect on this. Are you using the standard Windows screensavers or something that you found on the web?
