  • finding out what cooling i have.

    i dont know what my cooling fan is exactly i threw away the plastie it came in but i do rember it said 1.5


    the discription i would say it that it's round almost like twisted metter in small scircles around it with a big fan ???


    i bought it at best buy
    i know that dont gie much to go on

    any help would be cool.

      A picture would be extremely helpful.

      Also, you might try checking out the heatsink reviews that we have done here at the site. We have quite a few of them posted, so you might see yours in there. If it is round, then look at anything with ORB in the name or possibly the Antec cooler. Both are round units. :)

          that kinda sounds like a dragon ORB but I don't think Best Buy sells those. At least they don't down here.

              well i found out what fan i have now

              i was thinking i have another fan exact same size as that one and it looks like theres holesto screw it in to the other one hmmmm

              wounder if it would make a diffrence???


              I have another case fan to put in to the case too.

                Well Darth did a review on it and didn't seem all that impressed with it but as it does use a 60mm fan ya could probably change that for a much better performin' one and see if that makes a difference. :smokin:

                  To change the fan out, you would have to bore out the plastic rivets and then install screws through the sink. The one that I had didn't have any screws holding the fan on. That's why I didn't have any pictures of the fan by itself (like I normally provide).
