  • newbie question

    Well... I'm not a newbie, but as you might notice from my posts, I've been out of the hardware loop for about 3 years. (;

    So, here's my question:

    Will an ATA 133 cable connect my Serial ATA drive to my Serial ATA connection on my motherboard?

    The reason why I'm asking is because I'm looking for a rounded cable to run from my HD to my MB.

    Please help! Thank you!

        serial ata cables are already very thin and flat, so there is no need for a 'rounded' sata cable

          Once again, thanks!

          Alright, so maybe I'm a reborn newbie. :(

          Anyhow, glad to hear that about the cable.

          Next question: Where can I find the cheapest price on a 3.06 p4? What is the cheapest you guys have heard of someone getting it for?

              For US use
              PriceWatch.com
              also PriceGrabber.com I think it might be less US centric.

              resellerratings.com to make sure reseller wont rip you off.
