Ive been geting this error "kernel_data_inpage" after putting a fan and neon on the power connector that is to be used for primary secondary and flopy drives. Is it possible that the voltage is drained by the neon and fan causing the hd to die? It has hapend to me three times now, after restarting it cant find my hd so i open everything up check the connections (no pins are broke or bent and the cable is fine) then boot up and it works, same thing the secound and third time. Help?
my view on the two party system...

I'm imagining you'd do this if you had one free but I'm gonna meantion it anyway :) I'd plug in all of the power connections directly to any hdd's / cd rom's directly, and use one power connection just for fans, neon lights, etc ('tis what I do) go no issues here w/ that. Just an idea ... Anyway, calculate how much power your machine is using and measure that against the wattage on your psu ... you may be pushing close to your limit, and it may just be a power problem.
