Post your crazy, unique, or just plain silly ideas for computer enclosures/cases/mods

They don't need to be realistic either if they're funny.

This should be a combo case and BG post, but I figured I'd put it here.

And I'll start us off with:

Using one's toilet reservoir in a water cooling system for one's computer.

With the water being flushed out regularly perhaps avoid some of the nastyness that is part of water-cooling? Maybe drop one of those thingys that turns the water blue into the tank.


Also, just grab an old toilet and put a computer inside. I think that's another mod that has never been done.

How bout useing a room fan as a computer cooling fan. Think about how much cooling a big fan would give. You could lodge one in the side with a seperate power supply.

Going for some long intense gaming? No prob, just pull the cord twice to go into turbo mode!!!

I just came up with another one! Put a real computer inside an Acer case! No one would suspect!

How about buildin' a totally awesome LAN rig in a wheelbarrow so ya can wheel it in and then just slap a tabletop across the handles for ya input devices plug it in and pull up a seat. :D

I've heard of a few people using the box the motherboard came in...and also someone who wants to build a computer into a pelican case. Pelican cases

My friend and I were going to a lan war about this time last year and he was having me build him a new computer... he went out and got an AMD 1600+ which was almost the fastest thing on the market at the time, and had everything there but the case that was not in as of the day of the lan war, so we built his computer into the box that everything came in. It worked out great... we even put a window into the side of the box and a neon inside... it was great. Um... Right now I am working on building full desktop computer or at least the MB, processor, video, memory, hard drive, CD-Rom and a 13" LCD monitor into the largest pelican case available...

How bout converting an xbox into a full blown computer. It already has a processor and a great gpu. It has sound and a hard drive so wots stoping someone converting it into a computer.:devil:

what could be more perfecto for a Druid? Plan to build it from
Jacaronda(see Avatar....it's a Jacaronda in the Outback) Have
built an accoustic Guitar with matched splitback Jaca. & it's Priceless Beauty:D yet to decide on exact configuration?
